THE CLIENT
Our client is an international financial services business with a strong technology vision. They are currently looking to find a leader to join the team and lead a strategic review of the Credit Card technology division.
THE ROLE
You will act as an interface between the business and IT - developing relationships with the cards management and helping them to understand how to meet their business transformation objectives from a technology perspective. Simultaneously you will explain the possibilities of recent technology and how they might incorporate these opportunities into the division - driving down operating costs and optimising service delivery. As Head of Cards your responsibility will extend to strategically reviewing different cards technology areas and leading major change programmes that this will generate. This a challenging and exciting role with an aggressive and expanding business that will require you to lead and provide a vision that has real impact on success.
THE PERSON
Candidates must have experience of IT positions at senior level in financial services. It is also mandatory that candidates have experience of Credit Card technology and understand in detail this sector of the financial services industry. Experience of Card Issuing and Merchant Acquiring is vital, with the emphasis ideally being on people with European Merchant Acquiring experience.
